For He Knows | God has not forgotten you

“For I know the thoughts and plans I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome” Jer 29: 11 AMP

GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU

God has not forgotten you.

He is very much mindful of you even in this wilderness season and the delay.

He is saying keep in mind that I am a good God and I have your very best interest at heart.

The verse above speaks to the very infallible nature of God. He is telling the people of Israel in Babylon that hey when you have completed 70 years here, I will visit you and keep my good promise to you (Jer 29 vs 10).

He has promised you certain things right? But it is not making sense. You did not think you will spend 1, 2 , 5 or 10 months or years still praying about the issue or worrying over it but He is reminding you that He has not forgotten.

I won’t deny you good things. That’s not my nature.

Because He knows – “For I know …” I am still aware.

I want you to go ahead and say Temiloluwa (Insert your name), For God knows, He definitely knows what He is thinking towards me, and they are plans to prosper me and give me a future and a hope.

It is difficult staying in the wilderness, in the waiting season, but be reminded that He still knows the promises He has made.

Sometimes, it’s not necessarily somebody somewhere causing the delay, it might just be a part of His divine orchestration.

Isaiah says;

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Isaiah 43 vs 2 NIV

Did you notice the when and not if?

As you go through this challenge, ask how can I gracefully walk through this?

How can I pick up the lessons I am to learn?

How can I stay joyful and still trust you?

How can I pray for this person who is still hurting me?

Teach me Holy Spirit and help me through this period

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget you. Behold, I have engraved you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49 vs 15 – 16 KJV

There is someone who knows the future and who has not forgotten you.

He is the sovereign God.

Stay encouraged.
