2020 is cancelled!
Delete 2020 from your CV.
Say we were just washing hands in 2020 and you will be good to go.
As much as I want to move the motions above because this year has been rough for the world, the sweet-bitter truth is that 2020 still counts in the grand scheme of things.
You and I will not be one year younger neither would we get the months gone by in 2020 again, so be wise!
I am dropping a friendly reminder and some thought-provoking questions;
- How will 2020 be reasonable for you in the midst of the ‘chaos’?
- How will you achieve the goals you have set out for yourself this year?
- What do you need to adjust to adapt to your current reality?
I was doing an evaluation about my year so far and I have crossed some things off my list, one of which was to pay off my credit card debt (Praise the Lord) and start my fitness journey. These might not be big deals but they were on my 2020 list and are crossed off already.
Anyway, this blogpost is to let you know that Bro or Sis! 2020 is no sequel to 2019. 2020 is still its own year. People are still making money moves, starting businesses, pursuing personal development and the likes. Basically, not everyone is as laidback as it may seem.
I want you to go back to the goals that you have set for yourself this year. Do an almost mid-year evaluation about 2020 so far. Do not wait only till the end of the year to do an evaluation. Coach DDK has taught me that short term evaluation of your goals, boosts your chances of achieving them in addition to making them SMART which I shared in this blogpost https://temidimples.wordpress.com/2020/01/15/new-year-new-you-smartgoals-2020/
Choose to use your time wisely in 2020.
And if you have lost steam, this exercise (https://temidimples.wordpress.com/2020/01/30/permit-yourself-to-dream/) on dreaming may help you.
2020 still gets to have an impact on future years and I hope we will turn our lemons into lemonades.
One more thing, please sign this petition http://chng.it/mMt7HSy2GT to support the addition of Black history to the Saskatchewan School Curriculum.
