How you doing?!(Lol just answer in your mind).
Okay so I had like the best time of my life recently at a conference for youths in Canada. It was hosted by RCCG YASM (Young Adults and Singles Ministry) Canada. It was such an awesome experience and I can’t even wait for LILMoncton2017. By God’s grace I will be there.
Let me quickly recap my highlights for the conference; starting from the guest ministers
Pastor Dare Adeboye: One of the sons of the general overseer of RCCG. This man of God is awesome. I jumped and shouted till I lost my voice. He taught on leaping to greater heights and that the secrets of becoming great include
- SACRIFICE
- SOWING; and
- SEPARATION
Pastor P.K Olawale: This super anointed man of God is beyond amazing. The impartation service has no words to describe it. It was indeed a life changing event for me. This man carries God and oh boy he can sing o plus his insight on God’s word is on point! Here are some things he said that got me; the gospel without power is just a mere conversation and greatness doesn’t come by accident-It’s something you discipline yourself for and work towards.
Finally Jonathan McReynolds our guest artiste, a young, talented fine man. Great voice too. He is unique in his style and his songs are really deep with serious message and he could pass for a preacher. He’s not just a singer, he is worded up as well.
Pastor Johnson Fatokun (National YASM advisor) and his wife make a wonderful pair.They kept it real during our breakout sessions and they definitely know how to flow with our generation. Pastor Femi Debo-Omidokun – the assistant YASM advisor also let out a few secrets about understanding men (send me an e-mail for further details. p.s: Ladies only :D)
In a nutshell, LIL 2016 was fantabulous and I can’t stop thinking about it. It exceeded my expectations except bae was too shy to approach me o (okay I’m just kidding) but yeah I learnt a lot and please do well to attend youth conferences now o while you still have time. Discover that purpose before getting hooked! *yeah in Jenifa’s voice*
